The house

We make fewer clothes, more slowly, in a small studio on Bree Street. Every piece is cut in Cape Town, finished by hand and made to be worn for twenty summers, not one.

New in

Four pieces from the Atlantic Light collection. Tap one to see it up close.

between mountain and sea.

The atelier

Made to measure,
in three fittings.

Upstairs on Bree Street, our cutters draft a paper pattern for every made-to-measure client. You come in three times: once to choose the cloth and be measured, once for a basted fitting, and once to collect. Alterations on anything you buy from us are free for life.

  • 0fittings for a made-to-measure suit
  • 0weeks from first fitting to collection
  • 0hours for most alterations

The cloth

Three fabrics carry the whole collection. Hover or tap to feel them.

  1. 01Karoo merinoFine wool from Eastern Cape flocks, knitted in Paarl into our jerseys and polos.
  2. 02Wool & mohairA dry, cool suiting with South African mohair in the weave. It springs back after a long day.
  3. 03Brushed corduroyA soft, wide-wale cotton for jackets and trousers that fade beautifully.
